The Rolex Precision collection reflects the maison's longstanding tradition of elegant, manually wound timepieces. During the 1960s, Rolex produced a variety of refined ladies' cocktail watches, combining precious metals, jewellery-inspired design and miniature mechanical movements. These pieces remain distinctive examples of an era when fine watchmaking and evening jewellery were closely intertwined.
This Rolex Precision Ref. 2166 is crafted from 18ct white gold and features a petite 17mm case adorned with diamonds. Its jewellery-inspired proportions create an elegant presence on the wrist, while the plexiglass crystal preserves the character of its mid-century design. The combination of white gold and diamonds gives this vintage cocktail watch a refined, understated brilliance.
Powering the watch is a manually wound Rolex Precision movement, reflecting the traditional mechanical craftsmanship of the period. Offered in watch-only configuration. Circa 1966. As with all vintage timepieces, we do not recommend wearing this watch in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating. Covered by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
Condition grades relate to cosmetic presentation. Originality, replacement parts, service history and accessories are described separately where known. Please refer to the individual product description and photographs for further details.
