Introduced in 1945, the Rolex Datejust remains one of the brand’s most established collections. The Ref. 69173G represents a classic Yellow Rolesor configuration, combining stainless steel with 18ct yellow gold. Its blue dial with factory-set diamond hour markers offers a distinctive alternative to the more traditional champagne dial variations of this era.

Case & Details

This Datejust features a 26mm stainless steel and 18ct yellow gold Oyster case with a matching yellow gold fluted bezel. Its blue dial features applied diamond hour markers and a date display at 3 o’clock, enhanced by Rolex’s Cyclops magnifier. A two-tone Jubilee bracelet completes the design.

Movement & Provenance

Powered by the Rolex calibre 2135 automatic movement, offering an approximately 42-hour power reserve. Presented in good condition with minimal wear considering its age and offered with box and papers, circa 1994. As with all vintage timepieces, we do not recommend wearing this watch in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating. For complete peace of mind, this timepiece is accompanied by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.
