Introduced in 1954, the Longines Conquest was the maison's first named watch family and represented a new generation of refined, robust automatic wristwatches. This circa 1955 Ref. 9000 dates to the earliest years of the collection, giving it particular historical interest as an early expression of one of Longines' most enduring model lines.
This Longines Conquest Ref. 9000 features a 35mm stainless steel case with a beautifully aged dial displaying noticeable patina developed over more than seven decades. A plexiglass crystal and brown leather strap complement its distinctly vintage character. The watch displays visible signs of age and wear throughout, as pictured, which form part of the honest character and history of this early Conquest. The watch has been fully serviced by our own expert watchmakers to ensure full functionality while preserving its originality.
Powering the watch is the Longines calibre 19AS automatic movement, an important early self-winding calibre developed in-house by Longines. Offered with box only. Circa 1955. As with all vintage timepieces, we do not recommend wearing this watch in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating. Covered by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
Condition grades relate to cosmetic presentation. Originality, replacement parts, service history and accessories are described separately where known. Please refer to the individual product description and photographs for further details.
