Vintage Longines Admiral

The Longines Admiral collection has long been celebrated for its blend of refined styling and dependable mechanical performance. Introduced during the 1960s, Admiral models became synonymous with quality Swiss watchmaking, and vintage examples remain highly regarded by collectors for their elegant designs, robust automatic movements and enduring everyday appeal.

This Longines Vintage Admiral is crafted in 9ct yellow gold and fitted with a plexiglass crystal. The classic 35mm case is paired with a new leather strap and pin buckle, while the caseback is engraved to commemorate the original owner having completed 25 years of service with Shell, adding a unique historical provenance and personal story to the watch.

Powering the watch is the Longines calibre 6651 automatic movement, offering an approximately 40-hour power reserve and renowned for its reliability. Presented in honest vintage condition, with signs of wear to the case consistent with its age. Offered with box only. Circa 1973. As with all vintage timepieces, we do not recommend wearing this watch in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating. Covered by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

• New
  Brand-new and unworn, supplied by J. Farren Price as an authorised dealer with the applicable manufacturer warranty.
• New Old Stock (NOS)
  An unworn watch from an earlier production period. Minor storage or handling marks may be present.
• Mint
  An exceptional pre-owned example presenting in near-new condition, with no visible wear.
• Excellent
  A very well-preserved watch showing only light signs of careful use.
• Very Good
  A well-presented watch showing normal signs of use, including minor scratches or surface wear.
• Good
  A watch showing more noticeable signs of regular use and age, while remaining presentable.

Vintage watches
Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
