Introduced in 1963, the TAG Heuer Carrera draws inspiration from the world of motor racing and remains one of the brand’s most established chronograph collections. This now-discontinued Calibre 1887 reference offers a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Carrera design, combining lightweight titanium construction with a distinctive black finish.

Case & Details

This Carrera features a 43mm titanium case with a black PVD coating, complemented by a black chronograph dial with applied Arabic numeral hour markers and contrasting registers. A fixed bezel, sapphire crystal and black rubber strap complete the sporting design. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres.

Movement & Provenance

Powered by the TAG Heuer Calibre 1887 automatic chronograph movement, featuring a column-wheel mechanism and offering an approximately 50-hour power reserve. Presented in very good condition and offered with box and card, circa 2015. For complete peace of mind, this timepiece is accompanied by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

  A very well-preserved watch showing only light signs of careful use.
• Very Good
  A well-presented watch showing normal signs of use, including minor scratches or surface wear.
• Good
  A watch showing more noticeable signs of regular use and age, while remaining presentable.

Vintage watches
Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
