Heritage & Design
Introduced in 1992, the Rolex Yacht-Master combines the functionality of a professional sports watch with the refined materials and finishes of the brand's luxury collections. Released in 2015, the Ref. 116655 marked a significant evolution of the Yacht-Master, introducing Rolex's patented Oysterflex bracelet alongside an 18ct Everose gold case and matte black Cerachrom bezel. This distinctive combination established a contemporary aesthetic that has become closely associated with the modern Yacht-Master collection.
Case & Details
This Yacht-Master features a 40mm case crafted from Rolex's proprietary 18ct Everose gold, complemented by a matte black dial with applied luminous hour markers and a date display at 3 o'clock. Its bidirectional rotating bezel features a black Cerachrom ceramic insert with raised, polished numerals and graduations. A sapphire crystal with Cyclops magnifier and black Oysterflex bracelet, incorporating flexible metal blades within a high-performance elastomer, complete the design. Please note, while this watch does retain some of its factory stickers, it also does show some signs of wear as pictured. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres.
Movement & Provenance
Powered by the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic movement, featuring a Parachrom hairspring and offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve. With factory stickers and offered with box, booklet and green tag, circa 2015. For complete peace of mind, this timepiece is accompanied by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.
