The Rolex Submariner Ref. 16618LB represents one of the most luxurious expressions of the iconic professional dive watch, combining its purposeful design with solid 18ct yellow gold. The celebrated blue dial and bezel configuration has become particularly desirable among collectors, especially in well-preserved examples accompanied by their period accessories.
Crafted entirely from 18ct yellow gold, this Ref. 16618LB features a 40mm Oyster case with a rich blue dial and applied luminous hour markers. The matching blue aluminium unidirectional dive bezel, sapphire crystal and substantial 18ct yellow gold Oyster bracelet create an unmistakable aesthetic, while water resistance was originally rated to 300 metres.
Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic movement, offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve. Remarkably, this circa 2003 example is offered as a full set complete with its Rolex anchor, an increasingly uncommon period accessory that makes finding such a complete example particularly special. As with all vintage timepieces, we do not recommend wearing this watch in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating. Covered by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

Vintage watches
Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
Condition grades relate to cosmetic presentation. Originality, replacement parts, service history and accessories are described separately where known. Please refer to the individual product description and photographs for further details.
