The Rolex Submariner Date "Kermit" was introduced in 2003 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic Submariner, becoming the first Submariner to feature a coloured bezel. Produced for only a relatively short period, the Ref. 16610 has become one of the most collectible modern Rolex sports watches, admired for its distinctive green aluminium bezel.
This Rolex Submariner Date Ref. 16610 is crafted from Oystersteel and features a black dial with luminous applied hour markers, framed by the iconic green aluminium unidirectional dive bezel. The 40mm Oyster case is fitted with a sapphire crystal and paired with the classic Oyster bracelet, while offering 300 metres of water resistance and the timeless proportions that have made the five-digit Submariner references favourites among collectors.
Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic movement, an in-house chronometer renowned for its exceptional reliability and offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve.
