Rolex Submariner Date Hulk (2018)

The Rolex Submariner Date Ref. 116610LV, affectionately nicknamed the “Hulk” by collectors, has become one of the most recognisable and sought-after modern Rolex sports watches. Introduced in 2010 and discontinued in 2020, its distinctive all-green configuration has secured its place as a modern Submariner icon. Unlike its green-bezelled predecessor, the “Kermit”, the Hulk features both a green dial and bezel, creating an unmistakable aesthetic. With examples becoming less commonly encountered, particularly in excellent condition, this discontinued reference continues to attract considerable interest from Rolex enthusiasts and collectors.

This Rolex Submariner Date Ref. 116610LV features a 40mm Oystersteel case with a striking green sunburst dial, applied luminous hour markers and date display at 3 o’clock. The dial shifts beautifully between deep forest green and vibrant emerald tones depending on the light, complemented by a matching green Cerachrom unidirectional dive bezel. A sapphire crystal and robust Oyster bracelet complete its distinctive sporting design, while water resistance is rated to 300 metres.

Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic movement, featuring a Parachrom hairspring and offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve. Presented in excellent condition and offered as a full set with box and card, dated December 2018.
