Heritage & Design
Introduced in 1967, the Rolex Sea-Dweller was developed for professional saturation divers. Released in 2017 to mark the collection’s 50th anniversary, the Ref. 126600 introduced a larger 43mm case and revived the distinctive red “Sea-Dweller” dial inscription found on early references. This heritage detail remains a defining characteristic of the modern Sea-Dweller.
Case & Details
This Sea-Dweller features a 43mm Oystersteel case with a matte black dial, applied luminous hour markers and red Sea-Dweller lettering. Its unidirectional rotating bezel incorporates a black Cerachrom insert with a 60-minute diving scale. A sapphire crystal with Cyclops date magnifier, helium escape valve and stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock clasp and Glidelock adjustment complete the design. Water resistance is rated to 1,220 metres.

Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
