Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 34 (1986)

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date combines the enduring qualities of the Oyster case and self-winding Perpetual movement with a practical date display, offering a refined alternative to the larger Datejust. Vintage examples are particularly appealing for their compact proportions and classic Rolex styling, capturing the understated elegance of the era.

This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Ref. 15053 features a 34mm case in Oystersteel and 18ct yellow gold, complemented by a champagne dial with applied baton hour markers beneath a plexiglass crystal. The two-tone construction continues through the Jubilee bracelet in Oystersteel and 18ct yellow gold, creating a quintessentially 1980s Rolex aesthetic.

Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3035 automatic movement, a robust in-house chronometer offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve and featuring a practical quick-set date function. Presented in vintage condition. Offered in watch-only configuration. Circa 1986.
