Rolex Explorer 36 124270 (2022)

The Rolex Explorer traces its origins to the pioneering expeditions of the early 1950s, evolving into one of the maison's most understated professional watches. Introduced in 2021, the Ref. 124270 marked a return to the traditional 36mm proportions that defined the Explorer for generations, combining its classic dimensions with modern Rolex engineering.

Crafted from Oystersteel, this Rolex Explorer Ref. 124270 features a 36mm Oyster case with a black dial, applied luminous hour markers and the collection's unmistakable 3, 6 and 9 Arabic numerals. A smooth bezel, sapphire crystal and Oyster bracelet complete its clean, purpose-built design, while water resistance is rated to 100 metres.

Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3230 automatic movement, featuring the Chronergy escapement and offering an approximately 70-hour power reserve. Offered with box and card. Circa 2022. Covered by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

  Brand-new and unworn, supplied by J. Farren Price as an authorised dealer with the applicable manufacturer warranty.
• New Old Stock (NOS)
  An unworn watch from an earlier production period. Minor storage or handling marks may be present.
• Mint
  An exceptional pre-owned example presenting in near-new condition, with no visible wear.
• Excellent
  A very well-preserved watch showing only light signs of careful use.
• Very Good
  A well-presented watch showing normal signs of use, including minor scratches or surface wear.
• Good
  A watch showing more noticeable signs of regular use and age, while remaining presentable.

Vintage watches
Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
