Rolex Datejust 36 (1991)

The Rolex Datejust has remained one of the maison's defining collections since its introduction in 1945, celebrated for its timeless proportions and signature date display. The Ref. 16233 is a quintessential example of the classic two-tone Datejust, combining stainless steel and 18ct yellow gold in one of Rolex's most enduring configurations.

This Rolex Datejust 36 Ref. 16233 features a 36mm case in Oystersteel and 18ct yellow gold, framed by Rolex's signature fluted yellow gold bezel. Its champagne dial features applied Roman numeral hour markers and a date display at 3 o'clock beneath the characteristic Cyclops lens. A sapphire crystal and two-tone Jubilee bracelet complete its unmistakable early-1990s Datejust aesthetic.

Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic movement, offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve. Offered with box. Circa 1991.   An unworn watch from an earlier production period. Minor storage or handling marks may be present.
• Mint
  An exceptional pre-owned example presenting in near-new condition, with no visible wear.
• Excellent
  A very well-preserved watch showing only light signs of careful use.
• Very Good
  A well-presented watch showing normal signs of use, including minor scratches or surface wear.
• Good
  A watch showing more noticeable signs of regular use and age, while remaining presentable.

Vintage watches
Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
