Vintage Rolex Datejust 31 in Yellow Gold (1982)

The Rolex Datejust has remained one of the maison's defining collections since its introduction in 1945, celebrated for its timeless proportions and signature date display. This Ref. 6827 presents the Datejust entirely in 18ct yellow gold, with its classic champagne dial and President bracelet creating an especially elegant expression of early-1980s Rolex design.

This Rolex Datejust 31 Ref. 6827 features a 31mm 18ct yellow gold Oyster case with Rolex's signature fluted bezel. Its champagne dial is complemented by applied hour markers and a date display at 3 o'clock beneath the characteristic Cyclops lens, while a plexiglass crystal and 18ct yellow gold President bracelet complete its quintessential period aesthetic.

Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 2030 automatic movement, offering an approximately 42-hour power reserve. Originally purchased in Italy, this circa 1982 example is remarkably offered as a full set — an increasingly rare find for a precious-metal Rolex of this age, particularly in such complete condition.   A watch showing more noticeable signs of regular use and age, while remaining presentable.
