Introduced in 1963, the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona has become one of the world's most celebrated chronographs, defined by its enduring connection to professional motor racing. The Ref. 116505 presents the Daytona entirely in Rolex's proprietary 18ct Everose gold, bringing a distinctly luxurious character to the collection's purposeful chronograph design.
This Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Ref. 116505 features a 40mm Oyster case crafted from 18ct Everose gold, paired with a striking ivory dial and applied luminous hour markers. Three contrasting chronograph counters preserve the Daytona's signature sporting layout, while the fixed 18ct Everose gold bezel carries the engraved tachymetric scale. A sapphire crystal and substantial 18ct Everose gold Oyster bracelet complete its elegant monochromatic construction, with water resistance rated to 100 metres.
Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 4130 automatic chronograph movement, featuring a column wheel and vertical clutch and offering an approximately 72-hour power reserve. The watch retains some of its factory protective stickers and is offered with box and card. Circa 2023. Covered by the balance of the Rolex manufacturer warranty.

Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
