Rolex Datejust 36 "Ivory Jubilee" - Ref. 124429

Introduced in 1945, the Rolex Datejust remains one of the brand’s most established collections. The Ref. 16233 represents a classic Yellow Rolesor configuration, combining stainless steel with 18ct yellow gold. This example is distinguished by its less commonly encountered ivory Jubilee dial, featuring a repeating Rolex signature across its surface.

Case & Details

This Datejust features a 36mm stainless steel and 18ct yellow gold Oyster case with a matching yellow gold fluted bezel. Its ivory Jubilee dial features applied Arabic numeral hour markers and a date display at 3 o’clock, enhanced by Rolex’s Cyclops magnifier. A two-tone Jubilee bracelet completes the design.

Movement & Provenance

Powered by the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic movement, offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve. Offered with box, papers, green tag and Rolex service documentation dated 2012, circa 1996. As with all vintage timepieces, we do not recommend wearing this watch in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating. For complete peace of mind, this timepiece is accompanied by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

  A well-presented watch showing normal signs of use, including minor scratches or surface wear.
• Good
  A watch showing more noticeable signs of regular use and age, while remaining presentable.

Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
