The Rolex Datejust has remained one of the maison's defining collections since its introduction in 1945, celebrated for its timeless proportions and signature date display. The Ref. 16233 is a quintessential two-tone Datejust, while this example is distinguished by a less commonly encountered ivory Jubilee dial.
This Rolex Datejust 36 Ref. 16233 features a 36mm case in stainless steel and 18ct yellow gold, framed by Rolex's signature fluted yellow gold bezel. Its distinctive ivory Jubilee dial features a repeating "ROLEX" signature subtly woven across its surface, complemented by applied Arabic numeral hour markers and a date display beneath the Cyclops lens at 3 o'clock. A two-tone Jubilee bracelet completes its classic aesthetic.
Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic movement, offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve. Offered with box, papers, green tag and Rolex service papers dated 2012. Circa 1996.
