The Rolex Datejust has been a cornerstone of the collection since its introduction in 1945, combining timeless elegance with everyday versatility. The classic 36mm two-tone configuration became particularly emblematic of Rolex during the late twentieth century, while factory diamond-set dials add a more luxurious and collectible character.
This Rolex Datejust 36 Ref. 16233G is presented in Oystersteel and 18ct yellow gold, featuring a striking blue dial with applied diamond hour markers. The 36mm Oyster case is framed by Rolex's signature 18ct yellow gold fluted bezel and protected by a sapphire crystal. A Jubilee bracelet in Oystersteel and 18ct yellow gold completes this quintessential Datejust aesthetic.
Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic movement, one of the brand's most respected in-house chronometer calibres, offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve. Presented in very good condition. Offered with box, papers and green tag. Circa 1994. Due to the age of this timepiece, we do not recommend wearing it in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating. Covered by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
Condition grades relate to cosmetic presentation. Originality, replacement parts, service history and accessories are described separately where known. Please refer to the individual product description and photographs for further details.
