The Rolex Datejust has been a cornerstone of the collection since its introduction in 1945, combining timeless design with exceptional everyday versatility. The Ref. 16234 is particularly admired for its classic 36mm proportions and elegant White Rolesor construction, representing a quintessential example of the five-digit Datejust.
This Rolex Datejust 36 Ref. 16234 combines an Oystersteel case with Rolex's signature fluted bezel in 18ct white gold. The crisp white dial features applied Roman numeral hour markers and a date display at 3 o'clock, while the classic stainless steel Jubilee bracelet completes its refined aesthetic. The exceptional preservation of this 2001 example is particularly noteworthy, presenting remarkably well for a watch of its age.
Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic movement, one of the brand's most respected in-house chronometer calibres, offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve. Presented in excellent condition, especially considering its age, making this an increasingly difficult example to find in such well-preserved form. Offered with box, papers and green tag. Circa 2001. Due to the age of this timepiece, we do not recommend wearing it in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating. Covered by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

Vintage watches
Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
Condition grades relate to cosmetic presentation. Originality, replacement parts, service history and accessories are described separately where known. Please refer to the individual product description and photographs for further details.
