Rolex Datejust 31 "Computer" Dial - Ref. 68240

Introduced in 1945, the Rolex Datejust remains one of the brand’s most established collections. The Ref. 68240 retains the traditional proportions of the mid-size Datejust, while its distinctive off-white “Computer” dial features a repeating Rolex signature pattern. This less commonly encountered dial configuration offers an interesting variation of the classic Datejust design.

Case & Details

This Datejust features a 31mm stainless steel Oyster case with an off-white Computer dial, complemented by applied Arabic numeral hour markers. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the repeating Rolex pattern adds subtle texture and depth to its appearance.

Movement & Provenance

Powered by the Rolex calibre 2135 automatic chronometer movement, offering an approximately 42-hour power reserve. Presented in very good condition with minor signs of wear consistent with its age, and offered with box and papers, circa 1997. This timepiece has been fully serviced and carefully restored by J. Farren Price. Due to its age, we do not recommend wearing it in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating. For complete peace of mind, this timepiece is accompanied by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

• New Old Stock (NOS)
  An unworn watch from an earlier production period. Minor storage or handling marks may be present.
• Mint
  An exceptional pre-owned example presenting in near-new condition, with no visible wear.
• Excellent
  A very well-preserved watch showing only light signs of careful use.
• Very Good
  A well-presented watch showing normal signs of use, including minor scratches or surface wear.
• Good
  A watch showing more noticeable signs of regular use and age, while remaining presentable.

Vintage watches
Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
