Rolex Datejust 31 "Computer Dial" (1997)

The Rolex Datejust has been a cornerstone of the Rolex collection since its introduction in 1945, celebrated for its timeless design, everyday versatility and enduring appeal. Vintage and neo-vintage examples are particularly sought after for their distinctive dial configurations, with the intricate "Computer" dial offering a unique interpretation of the classic Datejust aesthetic.

This Rolex Datejust Ref. 68240 is presented in Oystersteel with a versatile 31mm case and distinctive off-white Computer dial featuring Arabic numeral hour markers. The repeating Rolex signature pattern across the dial creates subtle visual depth, while a sapphire crystal provides added durability and protection.

Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 2135 automatic movement, a highly regarded in-house chronometer offering an approximately 42-hour power reserve. Presented in very good condition, with minor signs of wear consistent with its age. Offered with box and papers. Circa 1997. Due to the age of this timepiece, we do not recommend wearing it in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating.   An exceptional pre-owned example presenting in near-new condition, with no visible wear.
• Excellent
  A very well-preserved watch showing only light signs of careful use.
• Very Good
  A well-presented watch showing normal signs of use, including minor scratches or surface wear.
• Good
  A watch showing more noticeable signs of regular use and age, while remaining presentable.

Vintage watches
Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
