Introduced in 1945, the Rolex Datejust remains one of the brand’s most established collections. The Ref. 79173G features Rolex’s Yellow Rolesor configuration, combining stainless steel with 18ct yellow gold. Its black diamond-set dial and traditional 26mm proportions offer a classic interpretation of the ladies’ Datejust.

Case & Details

This Datejust features a 26mm stainless steel and 18ct yellow gold Oyster case with a matching yellow gold fluted bezel. Its black dial features factory-set diamond hour markers and a date display at 3 o’clock, enhanced by Rolex’s Cyclops magnifier. A sapphire crystal and two-tone Jubilee bracelet complete the design.

Movement & Provenance

Powered by the Rolex calibre 2235 automatic movement, offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve. Presented in very good condition and offered with box, papers and green tag, circa 2003. For complete peace of mind, this timepiece is accompanied by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

  A very well-preserved watch showing only light signs of careful use.
• Very Good
  A well-presented watch showing normal signs of use, including minor scratches or surface wear.
• Good
  A watch showing more noticeable signs of regular use and age, while remaining presentable.

Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
