The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona has long represented the pinnacle of the brand’s chronograph collection, but certain highly exclusive references were reserved for Rolex’s most valued clientele. Ref. 116589RBR is one such example, an off-catalogue model that was not publicly advertised and was available only through Rolex boutiques for select VIP clients.
Crafted from 18ct White Gold, this exceptional Daytona features a pavé diamond chronograph dial with silver sub-dials and Arabic numerals, complemented by a factory diamond-set bezel. Rolex is renowned for its meticulous gem-setting standards, selecting diamonds to exceptionally strict criteria before setting them by hand to ensure uniform brilliance, colour, and alignment. The result is a dial and bezel that remain unmistakably luxurious while retaining the refinement expected of a Daytona. The 40mm case is protected by a sapphire crystal and paired with a blue Oysterflex bracelet, creating a striking contrast against the White Gold case.
Powered by the Rolex calibre 4130 automatic chronograph movement, this highly collectible example is offered with box and card. Covered by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
Condition grades relate to cosmetic presentation. Originality, replacement parts, service history and accessories are described separately where known. Please refer to the individual product description and photographs for further details.
