Introduced in 1969, the Omega Flightmaster was purpose-built for professional pilots and international travellers, offering an unusually sophisticated combination of chronograph and dual-time functionality. Its bold tonneau-shaped case, highly legible dial and distinctive colour-coded controls made the Flightmaster one of Omega's most technically ambitious watches of the era. Today, surviving examples are increasingly sought after by collectors for their unmistakable 1970s design and fascinating aviation heritage.
This Vintage Omega Flightmaster Ref. 145.026 is housed in a substantial 43mm stainless steel case and features a grey dial beneath a mineral glass crystal. Its distinctive colour-coded crowns and chronograph pushers allow the watch's various functions to be quickly identified, while the integrated-style stainless steel bracelet completes its unmistakable retro tool-watch aesthetic.
Powering the watch is the Omega calibre 911 manual-wind chronograph movement, offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve and incorporating an independently adjustable second time-zone hand. Presented in excellent restored vintage condition and offered in watch-only configuration. Circa 1971. As with all vintage timepieces, we do not recommend wearing this watch in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating. This timepiece has been fully serviced and carefully restored by J. Farren Price. Covered by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.
