Rolex Datejust 36 Neo-Vintage 16620 (2003)

The Rolex Datejust Ref. 16220 offers the best of both worlds between vintage character and modern everyday practicality. Its classic 36mm proportions and distinctive engine-turned bezel retain the charm of an earlier Rolex era, while a sapphire crystal and robust automatic movement make it equally suited to contemporary wear.

This example features a 36mm Oystersteel case with a silver dial and applied Roman numeral hour markers. The engine-turned steel bezel adds a distinctive period detail, complemented by a sapphire crystal and Oyster bracelet. Water resistance was originally rated to 100 metres.

Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic movement, offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve. Presented in excellent condition and, unusually for a watch of this age, offered as a full set with box, papers and green tag. Circa 2003. Covered by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.

  Brand-new and unworn, supplied by J. Farren Price as an authorised dealer with the applicable manufacturer warranty.
• New Old Stock (NOS)
  An unworn watch from an earlier production period. Minor storage or handling marks may be present.
• Mint
  An exceptional pre-owned example presenting in near-new condition, with no visible wear.
• Excellent
  A very well-preserved watch showing only light signs of careful use.
• Very Good
  A well-presented watch showing normal signs of use, including minor scratches or surface wear.
• Good
  A watch showing more noticeable signs of regular use and age, while remaining presentable.

Vintage watches
Condition is assessed in the context of the watch's age. Natural patina and period-appropriate ageing may be present and do not necessarily detract from its grade.
