The IWC Portugieser is one of the most elegant and recognisable chronograph collections in modern watchmaking, tracing its origins back to the late 1930s when two Portuguese merchants commissioned IWC to create a wristwatch with the precision of a marine chronometer. The result was a design language that remains instantly identifiable today, defined by its clean dial layout, slender feuille hands, and balanced proportions.
This Portugieser Chronograph Ref. IW371480 is crafted from 18ct Rose Gold and features a beautifully proportioned 41mm case housing a refined silver dial with recessed chronograph registers. Protected by a sapphire crystal and paired with a dark brown leather strap, the watch combines timeless elegance with everyday wearability, while maintaining a discreet 30 metres of water resistance.
Powering the watch is the IWC calibre 79350 automatic chronograph movement, a robust and highly regarded Swiss calibre renowned for its reliability and smooth chronograph operation. Offered as a full set with its original box and card. Circa 2017. Covered by our 24 month J. Farren Price warranty.
