Introduced in the late 1960s, the distinctive square hour markers and angular "Snowflake" hands were developed to improve underwater legibility for professional divers, including the French Navy, which famously adopted Tudor Submariners for military service. Today, these early Snowflake references are among the most sought-after vintage Tudors, prized for their authenticity, historical significance, and unmistakable character.

This Ref. 9411/0 is a superb example from 1973, featuring a beautifully aged "ghost" bezel insert that has faded gracefully over time, adding to the watch's unique personality and collector appeal. The 40mm stainless steel case is paired with a steel bracelet and protected by a plexiglass crystal, while the overall condition is remarkable for a watch of this vintage.
