he TAG Heuer Formula 1 collection was first introduced in 1986, shortly after TAG acquired Heuer, and became the first watch to carry the newly formed TAG Heuer name. Inspired by the excitement and colour of Formula 1 motor racing, the original Series 1 combined accessible quartz technology with bold, youthful styling, ultimately selling millions of watches. The modern Formula 1 Solargraph reinterprets this important design with contemporary materials and light-powered technology.
This TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph Ref. WBY1111 is presented in sandblasted stainless steel with a versatile 38mm case. Its white opalin dial features applied luminous hour markers and a date display, framed by a contrasting black bidirectional TH-Polylight rotating bezel. A sapphire crystal, 100 metres of water resistance and matching sandblasted steel bracelet complete its sporty, motorsport-inspired design.
Powering the watch is the TAG Heuer calibre TH50-00 Solar Quartz movement, which converts both natural and artificial light into energy. Just one minute of light can provide approximately one day of operation, while a full charge delivers up to 10 months of autonomy in complete darkness. Presented in excellent condition.
