Crafted exclusively in precious metals, the Day-Date has long been associated with world leaders, industry pioneers, and discerning collectors, earning its enduring nickname, the "President."
This Ref. 18238 is crafted entirely from 18ct Yellow Gold and features a classic white dial with elegant Roman numeral hour markers. The 36mm Oyster case is framed by Rolex's signature fluted bezel and protected by a sapphire crystal, while the iconic President bracelet—reserved exclusively for the Day-Date and select precious metal Datejust models—completes its unmistakable presence. Dating from circa 1995, this example has been comprehensively serviced and sympathetically restored by our expert in-house watchmaker, ensuring it presents beautifully while preserving the character expected of a vintage Rolex.
Powered by the Rolex calibre 3155 automatic movement, an in-house chronometer renowned for its precision and reliability, it features Rolex's double quick-set function for independently adjusting both the day and date, along with an approximate 48-hour power reserve. Offered with its original box, tag and booklet. As with all vintage timepieces, we do not recommend wearing this watch in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating.
