The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona is one of the world's most celebrated chronographs, originally introduced in 1963 and forever associated with the golden age of motor racing. The Ref. 116500LN marked an important evolution of the modern Daytona, introducing a highly scratch-resistant Cerachrom bezel while retaining the classic 40mm proportions and unmistakable motorsport-inspired design.
Presented in Oystersteel, this Rolex Cosmograph Daytona "Panda" Ref. 116500LN features the highly sought-after white dial with contrasting black chronograph registers, a configuration affectionately nicknamed the "Panda" by collectors for its distinctive black-and-white appearance. The 40mm Oyster case is framed by a black Cerachrom tachymetric bezel, protected by a sapphire crystal and paired with an Oyster bracelet, while offering 100 metres of water resistance.
Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 4130 automatic chronograph movement, an in-house chronometer renowned for its reliability and efficient architecture, offering an approximately 72-hour power reserve.
