MB&F M.A.D.1 RED

Founded in 2005 by Maximilian Büsser, MB&F (Maximilian Büsser & Friends) quickly established itself as one of the world's most innovative independent watchmakers, creating radical "Horological Machines" that challenged traditional watch design. The M.A.D.Editions project was conceived to bring that same creative spirit and unconventional thinking to a wider audience, with the M.A.D.1 becoming one of the most talked-about independent watch releases of recent years.

This M.A.D.1 RED features the collection's signature rotating side-mounted time display and striking skeletonised inverted rotor, which dominates the centre of the watch and creates a mesmerising visual experience as it spins freely on the wrist. The vibrant red detailing contrasts beautifully against the 42mm stainless steel case, while the sapphire crystal offers an unobstructed view of the watch's unique architecture. Paired with a leather strap and offering 30 metres of water resistance, it is unlike anything else in contemporary watchmaking.

Powered by a modified Miyota 821A automatic movement, re-engineered to drive the inverted rotor display, the M.A.D.1 perfectly captures the playful and rebellious philosophy behind the project.
