Created to celebrate IWC Schaffhausen's 150th anniversary, the Portofino Automatic Edition “150 Years” is a special limited interpretation of the maison's elegant three-hand dress watch. Released as part of IWC's 2018 Jubilee Collection, this white-dial Ref. IW356519 was produced in a strictly limited edition of only 2,000 pieces worldwide, giving it significantly greater rarity and collector appeal than the standard Portofino Automatic.
Housed in a refined 40mm stainless steel case, the watch features a distinctive white lacquered dial with contrasting blued hands, designed to evoke the appearance of traditional enamel. A convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment protects the dial, while the commemorative Jubilee insignia engraved on the caseback identifies the watch as part of this important anniversary series. It is paired with a classic crocodile leather strap and offers 30 metres of water resistance.
Powering the watch is the IWC calibre 35111 automatic movement, offering an approximately 42-hour power reserve. Presented in excellent condition. Offered as a full set. Circa 2019.
