Its distinctive red and blue “Pepsi” bezel remains one of the most recognisable designs in watchmaking, while its discontinued status has made this reference increasingly desirable among collectors.

This Rolex GMT-Master Ref. 16700 features a classic 40mm Oystersteel case with a gloss black dial, applied luminous hour markers and the signature red GMT hand. Its bidirectional rotating 24-hour bezel features the iconic red and blue aluminium Pepsi insert, offering practical time-zone functionality and striking visual appeal. A sapphire crystal with Cyclops date magnifier and stainless steel Oyster bracelet complete its timeless sporting aesthetic, while the traditional aluminium bezel lends this reference its distinctive vintage character.

Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3175 automatic movement, offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve. Presented in excellent condition and offered as a full set with box and papers, circa 1998. As one of the last original GMT-Master references, the Ref. 16700 holds particular collector significance, especially when accompanied by its documentation. As with all vintage timepieces, we do not recommend wearing this watch in or around water, regardless of its original water resistance rating. For complete peace of mind, this timepiece is accompanied by our 24 month J.
